Recently i installed GTA III (Grand Theft Auto III) again at my PC and i thought about the time that GTA2 and GTA, i remembered that you were able to edit the cars and city's and stuff.

me thinking, wy isn't that possible with GTA3? So i searched the internet and i found just a few sites. editing GTA3 is as simple as it was with GTA2 and GTA, but somehow nobody seems to care or invest time into it! i think that's not good, so all people who play GTA3, keep editing the cars, textures, maps, missions! that way GTA3-mods will be much easier to make and i hope that i can try a lot of new missions made by other GTA3-players

heh im not really much of a gamer (cept being devoted to UT instagib) but i occasionly play GTA3 and i only realised the other week that there were mods u could get off the inet for it heh.

anyways i found this site pretty good: GTA3Mods.de

its in German but its not too hard to work out how to navigate the site and u can tell what most of the mods do from the screen shots.

heh just make sure u backup ur model folder.... i installed about 5 mods and now my GTA3 just freezes lol... *begins to reinstall GTA3*

i knew about modding of GTA3 but it didnt excite me.
