War is a sign of extreme failure, and it's faulure in itself.

war can be a means to evoke positive change. it can also be an excuse for a few men to murder thousands. war is not always a sign of extreme failure. we don't live in a world of absolutes. you can't honestly say all war is bad, because the Revolutionary war gave you the freedom to say that.

the iraqi conflict is just a small part of the war issue. but war is sometimes justified and necessary.

Then the question is how does it become justified, and WHO justifies it.

Sometimes war can be used to stop war, or to prove a point, Might not be the best reasons but those are real reasons on why we do it , we go to war to keep peace.

war to stop war, yeah now theres an idea.

if it even gets close to that far that any country would go to war to stop a war that is allready in progress, there is no damn point.

and proove a point by sending in men to get killed?

Yeah, i just want to show the world that i care, so im sending these men on a mission they can not possibly acomplish, and when they die, which they will, i will have a huge ceremony for their families and imortalize them. hey, but at least i showed the world i care!

ben are you forgetting ww2? that war was started way before america and others entered, and they helped stop the spread of nazi germany that was taking over europe. i think that more than proved a point. and there is no damned way you can say that stoping the spread of nazi-ism across the world was a bad thing. if so you might as well move out of your captialist country and then shoot yourself in the face.

war creates peace, however ironic it sounds...but it ceases guns to be pointed at each other and it's a blunt, last-ditch, realization of something that needs change.

It is more of a question as sloth pointed out of what justifies it not who justifies it.
