On FedEx vehicle for delivery/DON MILLS CA
It was a long and stressful journey from the first status message that was displayed on the web-site that caused myself to be confused. I had to call multiple times to verify the information was correct, because it looked like my package was all over the world. Anyways, with much suprise, less then an hour after the delivery message, mr. fedex handed me the package I have been awaiting since the weekend (so much for 2day "express" delivery).
I bring it upstairs, open the fedex box, and then a box within the box to reveal the beautiful packaging apple created for this nifty music player. The box was the first sign you felt like a million dollars. It just un-wraped so nicely. (I guess you can call me crazy without a first hand experience). You can check out this page if you want to see how nicely the packaging really is: http://www.ipodloung...apple/ipod15gb/
Anyways, I open all the peices of cardboard and plastic, to finally see the iPod. I was truly amazed how small it actually looked compared to un-realistic photos on the internet. I'd have to say it was quite sexy.
Despite the numerous forums I read regarding installation of the iPod on windows computers stating its difficult to install and configure, I went ahead on the installation to find it was like stealing candy from a baby. It was so simple, it makes me wonder if theese people were idiots complaining about it.
I'd have to say the only thing I don't like about it, is actually nothing related to the iPod, but the Music Match software shipped with it. Personally, I dis-like it, but thats where people like me that hate the software create 3rd part programs to handle copying of music files and more with the iPod.
Props to the people who made EphPod.
I'd post the webcam pictures I took, but the above link shows it quite well.
