We prefer to hire generalists – this position will involve interaction with graphics, user interface, networking, installer, physics, sound, scripting and build system code. The perfect candidate will see our product and have a personal vision of how they can contribute to its future.

Roblox is a virtual world and building game for kids. Our game is built on a 3D physics engine so everything moves. Users make games in our dynamic environment and invite other kids to play in the world that they have created. Our users spend almost half their time there – making clothes, trading ROBUX (our virtual currency) for tickets (our other virtual currency), making user ads, and chatting on our forums. We’re looking for an engineer who is smart and efficient, and who wants to take one of the top kids’ websites up to the next level of interactivity.
