[OliveOyl3471]

I'm using MySQL, but that works. What is giving the error are these two programs:
MySQLAdministrator.exe
MySQLQueryBrowser.exe

I get a popup error message that says:

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc00000ba). Click OK to terminate the application.

I tried re-installing both applications but it did not help. I have googled this error message and some of the answers suggest it may be a virus. I ran Ad-aware and even though it did find and remove some things, that did not help me with this error. My instructor said to check the permissions, to make sure everyone is allowed to read and execute. No problem there, everyone is allowed full permissions for these two programs.

Could this be a Vista issue? I know Vista doesn't like a lot of things that work fine in XP. I'm running out of ideas, so if you know how to fix this error, please tell me! Thanks!

edit--I got the assignment done even though I never figured out how to fix this error. So it's not needed for my assignment anymore but if anyone knows how to fix the problem, you are still welcome to answer. Others might have the same issue. Thanks!
