Cpu Underpar?

Posted 30 June 2003 - 06:59 PM

I think there is something very wrong with my CPU (AMD ATHLON XP 1800) at the moment because it says at bootup that it is a 1150Mhz chip and also says that it is 1.14 Ghz on system properties.

I know for a fact that it used to say 1500Mhz and 1.5 Ghz.

Ive checked the BIOS (CPU p&p) and it says that it is running the 1800 model.
Any suggestions?

There isnt an FSB the only other option to set is CPU frequency and that is when the CPU speed reads 1150 Mhz
The CPU frequency is already at 133Mhz when set at 1150Mhz
