Hi i got a bad virus ( i think) it gives me pop ups like every 5 minutes and its very annoying also it like records the sites i go to so if im on a programming site (like this) it pop ups "programming" related site or since im into sports it pops up smac chat nfl its very anoying.

Well, the first thing to do is make sure you actually have a virus. So I would suggest lookingo into some anti-virus software. I personally use McAfee virus protection and they seem to work fairly well (plus they have a free virus scanner software you can download from their site, this won't get rid of the virus, but it will tell you if there are any on your computer (that it was able to find)).

So, I would start there, though there area number of other anti-virus programs out there you could check into (some of which are free).

ive ran norton and it says like 263 bad(i cant rember the word)objects

Delete them. Your problem sounds more like spyware though.

I use 'Spyware Terminator' and 'Avast4 Home' they are both free downloads and they work great.

Sounds like spyware to me, use Hijackthis or Spybot Search & Destroy to kill it or if you find the specific type google it and look for tutorials on how to remove it
