How to save a string to notepad

Post icon  Posted 22 December 2008 - 08:01 PM

How do you make it so that say I wanted to make a password protected folder, and it could be modified and save multiple users. Pretty much I'm askin for a mini-tutorial or a link to one.
So overall I wanna know how to Save and re-access it to check or change data.(multi-user would be nice, but not need)

Thanks :)

Well surely you must know that you can use the CreateDirectory() method of the System.IO.Directory object which is used to create a directory. One of its overloads is one which also takes a DirectorySecurity object as the second parameter. Here you can put access rights on the directory you created including which system users can access it, what type of permissions they have on it etc.

And the second page of interest...

Hopefully this is what you were talking about. :)
