how to catch segmentation faults coming in terminal using perl...can anyone help me regarding this?...thanx in advance!!!!

If a subprocess segfaults, I believe you have to look at the exit code of the process (the return value will be 128 + the signal number, so I believe 139). If you want to catch segfaults in your own perl program, may I ask why? (using perl XS, perhaps?)
