The wife and I are either going to go to the Casino and see how much we can lose, or we'll be in bed by around 10PM like last year. Just another day for me

I have a 100% kid-free New Year's (one is going to a friend's place for a sleepover, the other is spending the night with her father).... and how will I celebrate not only the dawning of a new Earth-Sun rotation, but a childless one at that? The same as every year - with a glass of green tea and a night full of Guild Wars. Party! Party! Party!

We always spend our New Year's Eve in church. No drinking, unless of course we take communion.

New Year's was always pretty much a So What? day for me, so I'll probably be vegging in fromt of a CRT. Ditto the two teens at home; my wife will be watching a movie. That's the most plausible scenario at this point. Plans could change, however: I might watch a movie with snookums, or just go to bed ... third shifters are really shiftless!

I will be mostly staying in, getting drunk, and telling the dog that the world is not ending. Fireworks...until the 2000 party we didn't really get them on New Year's, only on Guy Fawkes night.

I'll be having a party, starting sometime around 3:30-4:00 ish and going on until everyone has to get home. During that time we will be playing some video games, Call of Cathulu, and some other D&D type games. Should be fun.

Sleeping, or playing DoMO with pocky and dew. I think someone has a JAVA assignment from work for me to do when work starts back up JAN 5th but today I'm going to be lazy. I suppose instead of playing an MMORPG I could be partying.

It is 11:45 PM right now in Beirut, me and some freinds celebrating new year on our way, eating some well done steak, drinking wine, and each has his own laptop with him surfing the internet right now lol, we are telling some silly jokes and stories, hehe, and we have so far watched one good movie. Only 15 minutes now seperate us from the beginig of a new year! In 15 minutes we will be looking at the fireworks from the windows , I would like to wish you all D.I.C members and staff a happy, prosperous, and peacful new year!
