When I was much younger and first had a computer of my own, they told me they always would want to look at it and told me not to put a password on it. I knew they wouldn't waste their time looking and didn't care if they took a look. If there's anything I didn't want them to see, I would just write a passkey-based program that encrypts the data. Also, out of fun I did write that one snippet that can put in and extract files from .BMP images.

However, I never really had anything back then that I really felt I had to hide.
