Hi Owner, surprised you'd ever sign up on such a site just to reply to a post I made. I feel special. :)

No, I don't go around the whole DIC site, it's slow, ineffecient, and has flaws in rules/moderators.

What are you on about man? If you don't like it here, take off. What's your problem?

I agree. This site is awesome. If you don't like it, you're not forced to stay!

This person has more issues than a ballot box and always had since day 1 if you look at his/her posts. I distinctly recall the OS survey and they copped a major attitude throughout and then got mad when the results desired weren't obtained.

Also I believe it is a she but I will refrain from those accusations and just say EMO.

DIC should not have to forfeit design just for your ignorance. If you can't browse the site, that's not exactly anyone's problem other than your own.

Or, I've got a better idea. Why don't you tell us (or me) what's wrong so we can try to fix it in our upcoming redesign, or if it's a moderator issue, I can address it with the team.

With over 1,000 posts and hundreds of new topics every day, I certainly don't make it in to every one, or know exactly what's going on in every forum, so if there is an issue, bring it to my attention. Because as you can see, complaining about it just upsets me ;)

Ironic that you'd call me ignorant. Yes, it is a 128-bit system. How about you learn something about hardware for a change.

"EMO?" OK, not my problem you're a Jew. People frown on them for a reason, *cough* Jesus.
Mad? I'm not angry, I think it's funny when people can sit there and critisice without putting any forethought into something.

My ignorance? Yes, you're correct. I am ignorant of this site, I don't go around it, because I'm not stupid enough to waste my life.
Problem? There is no problem. I'm volunteeringly wasting my life in the pathetic ironic attempt of helping others learn, because I do find enjoyment in helping others.
Why not leave? Because, I choose not to.

For the final, and only plausible, recognizible, and probably the only post I should've replied to since having had made this thread:

1) Thank you for making an actual post
2) The site is slow (possibly high amounts of traffic? Slow or over-used harddware? My ISP simply hates the site?) - I have absolutely no idea. It is of my own issue, and I will resolve it possibly. It was not my intent to make you upset, and yes, I am sorry for that. I understand how it is when somebody says "Your <noun> sucks," without a list of reasons, or anything constructive.

Nykc and Hyper, enough with the name calling. Absolutely 100% uncalled for. First and only warning.

Hyper, the site is running on brand new servers with hardly any load so the issue is not hardware. It is 1) bloated pages with non-valid HTML 2) slow browsers like IE that render tables poorly 3) possibly other factors including your computer, ISP, etc.

For me, pages load pretty quickly. It's not something that bugs me, and I'm pretty sensitive to stuff like that.

As has been said several times in many threads now. The new redesign will fix the bloated pages and issue with slower browsers.

On that note, I'm going to close this thread. I would suggest you keep an eye on our Dream.In.Code news forum (it's the first forum on the "Forums" page) if you're genuinely interested in things like an IRC chat room as you would know what's going on here at DIC.

As for others that feel the need to name call. Stop it. It directly violates our rules. Further violations will result in temp bans.

Also, as an aside... you took the time to create this thread. But now that you know we already have an IRC room and the link is available on every page (right column, halfway down)... I haven't seen you actually join the IRC room.......
