I keep hearing him saying on the radio all the time that he's making a solo album, no one can replace him, blah blah blah. But get this! I just heard on the X that he is saying that they (Slipknot) are going to be bigger than Metallica, and that they are going to make their own "Black Album", and it's going to trump Metallica's 15 million sold copies. Blashplemy, I say. I just lost all respect for Slipknot, expecially the lead singer. What do you think about this?

For fun. He's being a cocky bastard, making the band sound better than they really are. He's trying to say that he is God pretty much, and they are better than Metallica, who is getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Metallica is the best band in the world ever (apart from the St. Anger period maybe), no offence to Slipknot, but they seem to be great at selling T-Shirts to 13 year old kids that is all.

My stance is this, I like Slipknot therefore I will download them. Doesn't mean that I like them any better than Metallica. Currently I have Sandman running through my head...one of my all time favorite Metallica songs. But I would still get slipknot's cd in a moments notice....I just love dark music as a friend of mine described me!

I have like 3-4 of their CD's. I'm just talking about his ego. It's like hes calling out for a fight. Their reputation has been seriously hurt because of what this guy is saying. I mean, r&r hall of fame! Metallica is the first since Pink Floyd (I think). Thats big, and Cory thinks they can beat them?
