That is just compeletely sad. I've never noticed this, but then agian I don't really pay attention. Doesn't that piss them off? Aren't they competing for class rank and academic awesomeness? I sure as hell wouldn't help people become comopetitors. If they are that retarded to not be able to get the answers themselves, then good riddence. Leaves me to concentrate on beating the actual smart kids.

My classes are full of american CS students. I can count, and even remember the faces of all the Indian students on one hand as they hang around the break room in between classes sometimes. However, the higher I go in classes it starts turning into New China here. At least I can sort of understand Chinese people.

I hear that. Most of the people in my math classes are Asian.

I can't speak for the incoming freshmen, but I think the only foreign CS student around my level in my school is Canadian. There were quite a few foreign exchange students when I was an ME, but they never outnumbered the Americans.

No. They sleep on the couch, loaf around or do homework like everyone else. I don't even know if they're religious at all.

This is strange, because I go to a school where the CS program is predominantly american. Maybe it's just the way it's marketed and none of the foreign students seem to cheat. Then again, our professors out right bitchslap you if you even so much as breathe out loud during a test. The graduate program is split down the middle and even the professors themselves are mostly american. Maybe it's just my school.

At WSU, it seems the closer to engineering/calc you are, the worse their accent. That's all I'm saying. If it ain't Chinese, it's Indian or Swahili.

Consider it a compliment that they come over here to go to school. Although I hear India has some outstanding CS/CE schools.
