Re: Requirements?

I may be kawaii^^ and have this funny tone I love to use all the time~ but that's just my own will to infuse my personality into my posts to make them seem more alive (it's important enough for me to vanish instantly if they were ever removed), but! There's a ton of thought I put into them. If it's outside the caffeine lounge, you'll often see them paired with a wall of text describing a progressive dump from what immediately tries to solve the question to what could be improved.

I was made into an Expert, therefore to help you I will simply tell you what I do which is apparently and example of what they look for. Even if they didn't promote me because of them, I reveal that there's a ton of spirit I put into the following:

- Appearance
I designed my signature to uniquely and vibrantly exude my inner self onto every post I make. People who are interested in me will see all my little icons and will click on them to learn more. A small picture is just enough, and I like simplicity. What goes around every post you make will be associated with you and with Dream.In.Code.

- Easy Reading
I separate my sentences and use the FireFox spell checker to ensure that even for caffeine lounge rants, my posts are easy to read. Those emotional expressions such as ~, -! and written out laughs have much more personality than 'lol' and 'rofl'. I have this habit of separating each thought into a paragraph so that people can jump around and read in my posts what I hope they read so they don't have to read the whole thing.

- Will to Not Want
I'm not one for dwelling on philosophy, I just simply see that when you focus on just doing what you do, good things happen. I was just randomly made an Expert one day. Whether I go on to be a Moderator or not shouldn't be my concern, my concern is that I make video games (even if I never finish >.< )

- Get a High Score
I just noticed that you nearly have enough kudos as I do. Does it matter? I actually just focus on making that number as high as possible without caring if anyone sees it or not. It's a useful tool for yourself to read. It's like playing a console game that has a score system even though there's no high score list and the score has an effect on nothing- you just make the number really high because you can. I can say that without it, I wouldn't have written random tutorials. It's a mysterious drive for yourself. Why do people get to level 99 when you could just beat the game around 60?

But I do agree with the Authors, you should have authors automated at a set number of tutorials- I don't know why that's on manual assignment. I also noticed there were many experts. It takes the punch out of being an Expert if it doesn't emit the feeling that people can count on you for something in particular if many people have it. But to the contrary, there's a small fraction of people who even have any sort of badge above orange to the entire user base. Having that author badge at all makes you stand out more.
