Have you tried to download the program WinRar and open it? If you have and opened the files and they don't work, they could be corrupted or incomplete. I am not sure how much help we are going to be also because this sounds like it is violating some copyrights which is illegal.

Hello friend!!
Just download WINRAR from some source

This is a software which extracts compressed files!!
RAR files can be opened and viewed by this

there are some advantages also

throught WINRAR, you can view the hidden files and folders!!

Have you heard of 7zip? This program can open most compressed files and is also open source.

PeaZip is fast, open source, and works with them all and is much better than WinRAR.

You can also use Winzip for such purpose, the full version is commercial though: http://www.winzip.com/index.htm
good luck ;)

I'm another vote for 7-zip. Downloading movies isn't necessarily illegal, take the recordings that can be found on illicit sites of stickam movies and the like. Not anything you'd like to be caught downloading, but still legal. Make sure you have the right codec for it though. I'd suggest the combined community codec myself: http://www.cccp-project.net/
