The Good Wife's Guide

A woman I work with has these pages laminated and hung at her desk. They are from the actual magazine from 55.

I found it pretty amusing and wanted to share. Pretty crazy that this was EXPECTED of women back in the 50's and so on.


Now I can see why you women hate men :P

My wife sent me this one the other day, which is more to the point:

She's doing a lecture at a local university on "women in non traditional roles". She'll be focusing on industrial fabrication. We have some friends from who work as commercial chemists for some pretty large companies we're trying to rope into the gig.

Ugly times those were. I'm glad to be born in... OK well instead of forced gender roles we have plenty of other problems in today's time. It doesn't matter what time era you were born in, it looks like you're screwed.
