IE is also bloatware due to the intergration with the explorer.exe which means that it is simultaneously slower because its running windows operations, and explorer is slow because its running internet options when neither really need them. not using ie makes your browsing faster. if it wasnt integrated into the shell your computer would also be faster.
it also has about thousands more security holes that you dont have to worry about with firebird because of its tight coding, and you dont have to deal with bullshit lets use windows media player to play every file because its made by microsoft.
you dont wanna use firebird and feel like being stuck in a world where a company should have control over how you view your computer fine, start a thread about it. leave this one for those who dont feel like wading thru that bullshit.

SLAM! Sorry nick, but sloth has a big point...and besides, you know how easy it is to unstall...guess what, you just extract the zip to the directory you want it in, and BAM, installed....i'd like to see a MS product do that!!
