Mean people suck!

Post icon  Posted 20 February 2009 - 11:41 AM

Yah, I love programming and I am learning, however for all the mean people out there programming viruses because you have nothing else better to do with your sad pathetic life ( Your mean and you SUCK).

In the meantime due to my husbands "curiosity on the net" we now have 7 trojans sitting in my mcaffe quarentine log, this is on my desktop, question is how do I go about getting it off my PC and will this infect my network (i.e laptop)?? Yah there are dozens of trojan removal tools out there for download however it is sitting i quarentine and it will not be located by one of these removal tools. Oh yah  , this POS has attached itseld to my volume control? in my C drive

can anyone help me on this?

If you want help for this, I'll move it over to Computer Support. If you want the topic to be about the jerks that write viruses, & your outcry, then I'll leave it here in the Corner Cubicle.

IMHO I think a lot of viruses are created by the anti-virus companies.

Hello job security... just my $0.02

edit - 98% of all trojans come from x-rated websites....

j/k on that last part. :)

AOL writes viruses, think about it.
Why don't any of their users have them (except a few misc. cases so you don't "know" that they ARE the writers).

The only problem with that is that AOL IS the virus. They install botnet software on every user's PC (in the form of an extremely cluttered and inefficient web browser) then resell the upload speed of your computer as their own bandwidth!

It's the perfect system... sell a service, then steal their PC's bandwidth and resell it!

I totally agree.. This is just as stupid as people vandalising property. Actually I would say that constructing viruses is even worse.
While I attended a course on Computer Security I was just waiting for someone to say they were or used to create viruses so I could get rid of some aggrevations by kicking their asses.

To all those who create viruses, trojans or malware I'd just like to say **** ***! (I think we all know what is behind those stars)

Oh, and that SuperSquirrel is cool.. :)

This is totally not an attack on programmers, just on the ruthlessness some people have. Yes Like vandalizing!

In any event I got them off my PC, It wasnt McAfee's fault, it was PC cillins fault, as it got by, anyway since I get free McAfee (goodbye pc cillin as it was due to expire anyway) Thus I installed mcafee and it detected the trojans in my restore files, yep been there a day or so!

I was able to do a bit-of- supersquirrel on the viruses in safe mode and *POOF* they're gone. :D

pr4y, MS Outlook and MS Outlook Express are viruses.
I've been saying that since 1997.

It made a 100 MHz machine become a 40 MHz machine - it literally cuts the processing power in half, makes it herky jerky, and the God-aweful popup "YOU HAVE MAIL!! CLICK ME... NO LOVE MEEEEEE!"

... Just thinking about it gives me nightmares.

That's what the turbo switch was for on the early Pentiums. So one could run their older 286 & 386 software on the (then) newer hardware without it flipping by instantly.
