Recently this was allowed by San Francisco's new mayor Newsom, do you think it should be allowed or not?

i voted yes because im not religious and see the act of 'marriage' as nothing more than the legal joining of posessions. seeing as their are marriage rules on things like taxes i think its unconstitutional to not allow people to do this. its the way i look at it i guess.

I think the government should get out of the marriage business completely and allow any group of people to create civil unions for legal and tax purposes, regardless of any sexual activity happening or not between them. That way, religious folk can't complain about marriage being "contaminated" and gays and lesbians are not different from straight couples in the eyes of the government.

i voted yes. I don't see any real reason why they shouldn't. (religous ones don't count. i said real.)

I voted yes as well. My home (Ontario, Canada) allows gay marriage (and I have no problems with that). The issue itself is currenly being debated in some of our higher courts, but the general consensus is that it will continue to be allowed, despite the protests of several religious (and non-religious) groups. I don't see the problem with it myself. Marriage itself is really just the legal form of a comittment two people have made anyway. More power to 'em.

i meant to vote 'Yes' b/c homosexual marraige is a form of darnwinism... if they don't procreate (spelling), there's not much i can do about it, and there's not much that affects me with that
