Safari 4.0 Public Beta

Posted 24 February 2009 - 09:52 PM

So the Safari 4.0 public Beta just got released today... Wondering if anyone has got a chance to try it out?

Personally, I love the new browser... Using it actually made me switch from firefox! I love the new welcome screen as well as the new cover flow bookmarks!

I personally like it.

It took me a whole 14 seconds to download it ((On crappy Australian internet))

But then again, trying out a *decent* browser would make sense... no wonder Raynes isn't doing it...

Lynx is by far a more superior browser, however I am sick of FF crashing on me all the time.

Well I downloaded both Safari 4 & Opera 9.63 and well let's just say Firefox is now complete a$$.

I am converting to Opera immediately.

So far it's been pretty smooth, my biggest problem was that it didn't get the Cache from Safari 3.0 which meant I downloaded everything all over again...
