Theres nothing wrong with wanting to dress a certain way or listen to a certain kind of music but there is something wrong when you justify being a waste of space because you're part of a social clique and want to fit in.

@Damage : Being that you admitted to not knowing ICP nor the music, you can't really justify any kind of an attack on what thbp is saying. Being from near the Cleveland area, I saw much of the ICP movement from the mid 90's before a lot of the knock off (or addon ?) groups, & I can vounch that most Juggalos are tight like family. Same as us MushRoomHead fans from those days. We'd run head 1st at any asshat with a Slipknot shirt on, back in the day.

It is very much a subculture, but it's also a tight, local subculture, & when you admit you have never heard nor seen it... you really can't justify down-sizing it & categorizing it.

the whole argument about you being a conformist is essentially that you are conforming to behavior, ideas, etc. that are standard within your subculture. obviously this isn't being a conformist within what you refer to as the "mainstream," but rather within your own social microcosm.

i would also like to point out that you think we're all jocks. not only is it hilarious that you're insinuating that everyone who dislikes your favorite band on a message board about programming is a jock, but it's become clear that you group individuals into a binary that becomes obsolete after passing mrs. applebee's 8th grade english class.

You brought all of this on your self dude..

And your point about "going against mainstream". Take a look around you, it has become mainstream to "go against the grain". You and your juggalo friends aren't doing anything that hasn't been done before. The true individuals who don't care about what people think and go against the mainstream are those Asian kids who sit in you school library for 6 hours after school. Obviously you do care about what people think about you or else you wouldn't be doing what you do. If you want to be a true individual, cut your hair, wash the makeup off your face, do good in school and go to college for something that you really love. Being a so-called juggalo is going to get you know where, and your gonna wake up one day when your 30 and realize that you've done absolutely nothing to contribute to your fellow man. Unless that's what you want. I don't know, I know your young and nothing of what any of us say here will probably register in your head. But one day, maybe you'll remember the advice that a bunch of programmers gave you in thread you started about ICP and say "hey, man were those guys right".....

OMFG. Im the kid who sits there and reads for fun at the librarry. I dont care what people think of me but if they talk be hind my back i get pissed becouse they should have the balls to say it to my face. Being a juggalo is getting me now where?? Ok, Ive never made state sf but after becoming a juggalo i actually got more than 85 Percent on my project. Then plus Im averagin B+-a- in my classes. So plz people look at one of us all of us and actually learn about us and know us before acting like a JCK

You claim to get great grades in school, but yet even google can't translate half of the shit you are spouting off about. I would recommend working on grammar skills and then maybe we can intelligently discuss something of this magnitude.
