Personally I use FF because there are so many useful extensions that other browsers don't have. Firebug, Fireshot, Web Dev Toolbar, AdBlock and GooglePreview being my favourites.

Most of the other browsers are pretty standard. If it works in one, chances are it will work about the same in the others. But IE HAS to be different.
If you develop a web app using IE -- then you are bound to accidentally use features not in the other browsers. But if you use FF (and why wouldn't you as it currently has the best tools esp for AJAX debugging) then there is a good chance of it working on all the browsers with the occasional tweak needed for IE.

Yeah, I used internet explorer, back in what... '97? Since you work for Microsoft, is there a section in your contract that states you must support / bandwagon / soapbox all Microsoft products? I just find it strange that a developer of your calibur honestly supports IE.
Anybody who knows anything about web browsing and coding standards knows why IE is a P.O.S.
I have a friend that I'd like to mention. This particular friend knows absolutely JACK about computers. After 3 years of trying to convince him that 95% of his problems with the internet were IE related, he switched to Firefox. Now that I've opened his eyes to the beauty of a browser that meets web standards, hes gone off on his own adventure and discovered "Opera".
Can anyone tell me the difference between "Opera" and Firefox? The only obvious reason that my friend switched from FF to Opera is the fact that Opera has a built in flashy "Speed Dial" feature of which he can 1 click to all of his 9 favorite porn sites. Firefox has this plugin freely available in the extention marketplace, but still my friend still switches to Opera.
People that aren't necessarily "tech-savvy" are more inclined to stick with what they know, or with what comes with the most useless features.
Firefox offers what every other browser in existence offers, but most of it isn't built in. Firefox is lightweight, customizable, and standardized.
My point here is:
Those who don't know, use IE.
Those who can't learn, use Opera. (Due to flashy, unnecessary, built in addons)
Those who understand... use Firefox.

I understand, I sure as hell can learn, I still use FF as well. But I am really loving me some Opera.

Are you implying this is fake life? Because all life is real life (even artificial life is real life).
In person and not in person is the proper way to refer to it. Actors and Characters are people, although, for little kids, we might refer to movie actors/actresses or TV show actors/actresses as "not real."

FF crashes occasionally for me, but today it's been falling over every half hour or so. I think it's actually something to do with the flash plugin, but I'm not sure whether it's an Adobe issue or something to to with FireFox. I'm starting to lean more towards Adobe because I've been watching a lot of Captivate videos today and they seem to really cause an issue.

FireFox is slow (for whatever reason) and causes my computer to freeze/seize up periodically, which is why I don't use it.
I prefer Opera. I don't use "Favorites" tabs or any of that "Flashy" (bells and whistles) crap.
