Wow. I stopped my SETI jobs over a MONTH ago and I'm still in 7th place.

not true. the competition started on june 1st. so any points you earned before that time aren't counted. when everyone joined they pm'd objekt to enter the competition. at which point he wrote down how many points they ALREADY had. so to get your actual point total for the competition, you have to subtract your handicap that objekt has recorded. so the results on the seti page are unbelievably skewed compared to who actually wins.

Sorry, I generally update this from work. Unfortunately we've been rather busy (something about phone, T1 & xDSL lines + lightning...)

You know, we should have used the XML feed from [email protected]'s site and proggied the handicaps in so you could see the live stats.

Is anyone else getting an error: "Unknown Fatal Error: 1" from SETi?

So far my entire array here has stopped communicating w/the [email protected] project with this error. I want to know if others are receiving this error in case we need to cut the contest short...

& No, no updates today. I've got to goto the office to get the handicap scores (& my g/f has the Tracker).

Yeah I havent been able to update for a few days, so i uninstalled it.

With the error it was causing my other applications to crash.
