Alright, I have an SMC 802.11g router with a Barricade Firewall, and a Microsoft MN-700 802.11G router... I was gonna put one of them in a local night club, but have changed my mind. Instead, I've setup a segmented network. I've got a private wired/wireless network protected with WPA (SSID: DreamStudios[505-417-2595] WPA) and a public network with wireless (SSID: DreamStudios[505-417-2595] Open). The idea being, if I keep my internal computers on the private network with the WPA, all my resources will be nicely protected. But I can still offer folks in and around my neighborhood a wireless connection for free.
Anyone else doing this?!

Nice idea. I do this for clients that want public hot-spots using Cisco gear. Great additional feature - especially in cafes.

Oh, I also forgot to mention, that my X-Box (to the best of my knowledge) does not support WPA [yet]. So, the X-Box can still connect to the Open network (I've got the wireless adapter) and anyone who comes by with a laptop can do the same, without disturbing my internal network.
The only trick to all of this is, XP Pro users must have the WPA patch installed before they can access anything on a WPA connection.

So you're gonna have a thumb disk with autoinstall handy to patch people up, right?
