Very nicely done. I love the Extensions and Themes implementation, the Charamel theme is incredible, check it out. Looks like they're gearing up for the big 1.0
Sloth, Links in the Bookmark Toolbar open up in a new tab just fine for me. I have the following extensions installed:
All-In-One Gestures
IE View
Single Window
AdBlock

For the first time I decided that I should give firefox a chance, got it installed, found out that you can have multiple sites loaded in 1 browser window using tabs..... it blew my mind. I usually have 10 ie windows open.

I came to my senses around 0.6.1
concerning the new versions 0.9 of firefox and 0.7 of thunderbird, I won't start using them until they port my beautiful modern themes over. And my TabBrowser Extensions.

Try going into customize and putting the CSS button in there. When I enabled the web dev bar thru a right click on my rig all that came up was a blank toolbar, then i went into customize and put in the buttons i wanted into the toolbar. The reason for this is probably due to the fact that i removed some buttons in a previous firefox install, and it probably copied the settings over. Thats my guess anyway.

that worked. nice call. i didnt expect buttons for an extension to be in the customize section.
