You don't bring me flowers
You don't sing me love songs
You hardly talk to me anymore
When you come through the door
At the end of the day
I remember when
You couldn't wait to love me
Used to hate to leave me
Now after lovin' me late at night
When it's good for you
And you're feeling alright
Well you just roll over
And you turn out the light
And you don't bring me flowers anymore
It used to be so natural
To talk about forever
But 'used to be's' don't count anymore
They just lay on the floor
'Til we sweep them away
And baby, I remember
All the things you taught me
I learned how to laugh
And I learned how to cry
Well I learned how to love
Even learned how to lie
You'd think I could learn
How to tell you goodbye
'Cause you don't bring me flowers anymore

You know I expected just that response. I have many friends in the Marines and I do understand it. That is why I was surprised by your line of action. Actually no wait, I wasn't surprised at all. You expect people to look up to you. You expect people to hold the same opinions as yourself. You jolt when you get dissapproval. Wecome to the real world, we are not Marines.

Lighten up. Since the statement was wrapped in an "lol" and a "haha" it should have been clear that it was meant in a jocular manner and not to be taken seriously. Besides, Sloth mentioned an op position for me a while back but I didn't pursue it because I'm too busy these days. Ok? So don't be a smartass with me just because you feel this site has wronged you in recent days because of your drug related posts. You're not being singled out and it's nothing new. I've seen it happen before and I'm sure you won't be the last.
Now, as for this little incident. I read the thread that started all of this and have determined that while Chris may have been a little out of line when choosing his words, you were not entirely undeserving. No one benefits from being so argumentitive. I realise that you, Unimagined, only wished to defend your statements but your tone suggested a poor attitude and an immature stance in the situation. So Chris, having a bad day called you a "fuck face." Big deal. Sorry, but it's no big deal. That's where I stand on that.
Now, something that I've noticed recently. This board is not very nice to new people. It can be downright rude actually. I don't post that much anymore because I have less and less to post about. But I still drop by and read and some of the things that our members say to people who only try to be helpful or active members are downright rude and unecessarily so. I'm not saying that you don't have a right to do that. You have the right to be the most elitist-asshole community on the net but I'm just saying that some members are in need of an attitude adjustment.
No hard feelings to anyone. I've tried to be very objective in this.

The occasional unimagined or kidd0 comes in and ruins a few days/posts/threads/members, but after that it's pretty calm.
I haven't ruined a thing. I was the one called an ass, and a fuck face, blame me if you want.
I didn't state the fact of just leaving the Marine Corps to scare anyone, I stated it to say I got out, and now you're calling me a fuck face, me out of all people.
Also soemone said they taught me how to deal with people like that in the Corps? Have you ever been in? Do you know what happens when a Marine seriously makes a remark like that to another? Be sacrastic all you want, in the Marine Corps you respect eachother, it's not a joke.
the way you throw around the word "marine" makes me wonder. any respectable person from the armed services would use the name of their service much more wisely.
FUCK FACE

Damn, there is a lot of bitching goin' on around here...
If you want to leave, leave. if you want to stay, stay...
tons of people have come and gone without posting a final thread expecting sympathy or something, in life not everyone is nice to you all the time but you deal with it and move on... the admins aren't here to hold your hand and wipe your ass, we are here for are own reasons, and calling people "fuckface" is priority number one.

Marine is my title, I am entitled to use it when and how I feel like. I did not abuse the title in any way.
The troops aren't to blame, they sacrifice their lives, or part of it, for the protection of others. They do what they are told must be done to preserve the country's status of freedom. It's the leaders that make bad decision, the ones that aren't in the wars, or there in person. The ones that sit behind desks, or computers all day making decisions because they were voted into offices.
You took what I said wrong. I was replying to the comment someone left that this is the way the Corps taught me to deal with people by saying something like "Say it to my face".
I wasn't saying all of you should act a certain way. I don't expect anyone to look up to me for being a Marine, most people look down on you like you've done something wrong, but it's worth it. You tell me welcome to the real world, well if you've ever been in the real world (which doesn't exist next to your computer desk) you'd be able to realate to reality a little more. I wasn't grown in the Marine Corps, I was a civillian first. You only see what the real world is when you've been in the hardest places of life, and actually been through something besides a website.
So before you try to welcome me to your idea of a real world go do something, see what the real world's about.

Oh I wasn't looking for sympathy, you should see I don't care about sympathy. I was pointing out it's not kewl to talk to people like that that never said anything to you, especially when you're supposed to administer a site.

fuck that i missed all the fun
- unimagined DID take things people said seriously
- USUALLY you dont have to ask for credentials, but mandalyn said she was a professional so he had the right to, and i apologized for that in the thread
- mandalyn IS a narcisitic attention whore, whos full of all talk and no action. and having a deviantart account does NOT make you a professional anything
- we administer how we please, sometimes thats by calling people a fuck face. is it meant in all seriousness? hell no. do we do it anyways? you betcha.
- as much as we respect your time in the armed services. it really doesnt mean jack shit no matter WHAT way you meant it. and expecting people to call you a fuckface in real life is really just a pipedream, this is the INTERNET, people will call you fuckface over the INTERNET
- yeah, we are pretty mean to new people sometimes. 75% of the time they deserved it anyways. and i would rather have an awesome small community with less fuckfaces (or more
) than a huge one full of idiots.
