I'm wondering what the feminists will do. They've been pushing for 'equal rights' for women to be part of the military and now they (women) may be forced to join. This, methink, will get interesting.

if underclassman - it gets you out till the end of your current semester.
if senior/grad student - it gets you out till the end of your school year

For decades now, Poland has had compulsury conscription. Males from the age of 18 to 28 MUST, by law, serve in the army for at least a year (or 3, not sure)...
I have duel citizenship so theoreticaly I'm supposed to go too... I haven't received notification as yet *knock on wood* ... but I won't go even if I do.
Most males look for a way of getting out of this "duty", as the government calls it. Many succeed and don't go. Things that help are studies, medical conditions, work(??)...
