Here is my favorite shot from the state fair, taken with a Sony DSC-F828 using a .3 second exposure and a slow sync flash:

did you have a tripod? usually the best i can do w/a slow sync and handheld is 10 or 15 sec. exposure.
nice shot anyways.

No, I was resting it on a fence, it was only 0.3 seconds.

I just noticed what kind of camera you used. I have a DSC-F717! Close...

The 717 is sweet, I had it last year and then upgraded to the 828 this year... same camera just has some new features and it's black.

It's back in black, oh ya. Do you still have your 717? Or was it from work? If you have the 717, I might be interested in trying to purchase or trade some junk for it. I'd like a good digital camera of my own, our 717 belongs to work.

when u have no where interesting to go...... walk aimlessly around ur house and take pictures of lights lol.... 
used meh new camera: Panasonic DMC-FZ20, 5MP.
also i tried to improve my rocks one in photoshop :F
