Please - call her by her new adopted name - Fukkacumi.

Originally from the Ukraine, the 19-year-old takes style inspiration from the cartoons and computer animations that have a huge following in Japan, and has even adopted a Japanese name - Fukkacumi.

More from there:

Shpagina, who is just 5ft2ins tall, is already reported to have slimmed down to just over six stone in her attempts to resemble a living anime character, and is said to spend 30 minutes painstakingly applying her dramatic make-up to each one of her eyes.

Hmm, I've been meaning to watch Paranoia Agent but I don't have a copy yet. I've watched Tokyo Godfathers and Millenium Actress from Satoshi Kon. Also high on my to watch anime film list is Perfect Blue and Paprika from him.

I've only watched the FMA movie(Shambala or something) and it was pretty awesome. I'll read the manga soon. Right now I'm reading Bleach and Azumanga Daioh. ^^

Oh Azumanga Daioh is great too. Been ages since I've seen good anime. Have been following Rebuild of Evangelion for sometime now, eagerly awaiting the next installment. Speaking of Evangelion, the original series is pretty good too.

I remember watching Evangelion as a kid and I remember some nudity and lots of blood, but the story is now lost on me. I'm a manga guy now though, I quit anime since they take up a lot of time.

Actually I really like Spice and Wolf, Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, Lucky Star, and I sort of like Amatsuki.

Spice and Wolf is adorable.

My favorite is Eureka Seven (but not AO, because it doesn't exist).

So I just finished reading Bleach 497... Well, I've proven my theory about Bleach. Also, I think that Fullbring arc almost killed the franchise.

To anyone interested, I made a blog post on how to read manga easily offline, either through your PC or through your Android phone.

So yeah, I saw a few. Favourites are pretty much stated right there - but if only not to leave this post as a link to my profile elsewhere, let me name a few series:
- Ghost in the Shell - greatly inspiring music in the first movie, and captivating heroes. I enjoyed both series very, very much. A must watch for every science-fiction fan.
- Monster - strangely enough it kept me interested till the very end, and this series is quite long in my standards. Unusual setting, character designs and the story itself... Heck, if I had time, maybe I'd watch it again. ;)
- Legend of the Galactic Heroes - 110 episodes of the main series, and then there are also movies and some short series. I've seen most of them, and I have to say I did not see a space opera better than the one depicted using LotGH universe. Oh my, I could probably write tons of adjectives here, but let me just say that this slow-pacing gem of animation will keep you out of the real world for days. ;) It truly is epic in the original sense of the word.
- Hellsing - a horrifying monster is kept on a leash. Sometimes that leash is loosened, so he may get out and hunt for his own kind. And oh boy, if that monster finds a worthy opponent... Well, he knows how to enjoy a good meal.

Cowboy Bebop, and those in my above post, according to my taste at very least. Cowboy Bebop was made by the same people, before Samurai Champloo, has similar length and is well worth the time. Other than that, it's a space-western at times, so yeah. ;)

Search MyAnimeList for recommendations, maybe you're more into the serious lands of anime, and there are those who are too, and they do find shows worth of a watch. ;) Mushishi?
