Ruroni Kenshin, DBZ (I'm apparently not supposed to like it but oh well), Miyazaki's good, yu yu hakasho, Initial D (actually have only read the manga), and if it can be considered anime, Avatar the Last Airbender. It's seriously my all time favorite show.

Avatar isn't an anime. It appears to be anime-influenced, but doesn't actually follow exactly the style real anime does. It's just as anime as the stuff I draw for my game, which isn't very anime at all if you think about it.

I don't think there's anything wrong with disliking an Anime that makes me feel like I'm going to bleed out of my ears (ex. Naruto). It's Animes like that and the seriously disturbing Animes which can all reduce the good reputation of it all. Of course there's actually a law similar to Murphy's Law that states 90% of anything is crap so it's expected for some good starts to turn into rotten long-running fanboy-infested shows like Inuyasha and Naruto.

Chobits was kind of interesting and funny (kawaii little android/computer people^^), but the other two would make you funny in the head indeed.
