LAN= local area network. Could consits of XBox's, PC's, anything networked together locally for use in gaming as well as many other purposes.

You can link PC's to and PC's. And Xbox's to Xbox's. I'm not sure how XBox live work, but I think you hook the XBox to your PC, then to your broadband. Or just XBox straight to internet. Not sure.

Since we're talkin about Halo 2 i would just like to point out to everyone that the Tournament scence for halo is a fuckin waste of time, it's basically the same group running all the tournaments that wins all the tournaments, they keep their game types and rules hidden till a week before while they practice with it for a month, and in general their just not kool. their is just a complete lack of profesionalism on all sides by the people running the tournaments and if i hear the word noob one more time im going to snap. maybe its different in other areas but in new mexico it sucks. and their websites all suck.


that said if everything falls into place i'll be running a tournament for charity next winter, and then i'll show them how its done.

I'm not great at Halo, seeing my free time, but I'd like to enter a contest for fun. That'd be cool.

we beat it one sitting the night we got the french copy. we had no idea what was happening, especially during the bosses, but it was awesome. we're still only half way thru the game on legendary though (that shit is hard and we're not quite as determined to beat it as we were that night)

we've been doing it on co-op, it's actually harder by yourself cause theirs even more enemies and if one of you dies you both go back to the last checkpoint, not like in number one where one player could die and the other could just run for his life until he reached the check point and the second player would respawn. its ridonkulous.

agreed. it so friggin hard on legendary with two people. I haven't beat it on legendary by myself yet, done heroic by myself and with friends, and I'm going to try to hit up legendary in one weekend if I get the time.

haha. ok I have played through the first 4 levels on legendary on 2 player and that was hard as crap. But I think with just me it'll be easier, but still take time. I got a few friends who are insane and record them selfs playing it on legendary to watch for ways to complete it quicker, timing themselves and everything, it's sick.
