Css Forum And Tutorials

Posted 02 December 2004 - 11:05 PM

Skyhawk,

We should have CSS Forum and Tutorial areas on this site, eh? That would seriously help a lot of developers and keep me glued to this desk. What say ye?

it goes in the html forum. we dont have enough purely css topics to warrant a new forum at this time.

"HTML/Javascript
html, css, dhtml, javascript, ssi, etc."

And you could hit it up in the resources area where we have 21 resources pertaining to CSS: http://dreamincode.n...arch&search=CSS

You could, however, add the DotGeek.NET CSS news page to the news options:

http://dotgeek.net/x...net/rss/css.rss

Lots of CSS goodness there. :)

This is true.

I am working on changing the way tutorials are done here at dream.in.code to make it MUCH MUCH easier to create tutorials and view them. The system we have now is nice, but not suitable for what we need it for.

Thanks everyone. I knew about the other areas on D.I.C. where CSS was being discussed; I just had the feeling it deserved its own forum because I've seen that there seems to be a huge range of expertise in CSS and lots of "variations" on how things are "supposed" to be done (my apologies to Eric Meyer) and some discussion for newbies and old-timers (does such a person exist?) is healthy. NBD. Sky's hint of better things to come is very cool...can't wait to see what magic he brings.

Thanks for the DotGeek site: a quick review revealed some amazing resources! So many sites....so little time.
