Windows Vista Ultimate installation

My PC system is as follows

Intel Core 2 duo E6750 2.66Ghz
4 GB of system RAM
50 GB Free space
Intel DG 33 FB motherboard
NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTX+ 512MB Graphics card
HP DVD-Writer

Around a year ago i had windows vista ultimate-64bit on my pc. but i uninstalled it. Now i recently i am trying to re-install by rebooting and it is giving a error cannot load installer.wim. ???

What did you use after you uninstalled it? You are getting this error from the DVD or the recovery partition?

no no i was using windows xp. i recently got this idea of switching back to vista until this error came

Well based off the information you have given me. This error happens mostly when the Vista DVD is burned on outdated firmware and at a high speed. Check your DVD burner manufactures website for updates, then try re-burning the DVD at a 1x speed. Also make sure you are using a legitimate copy provided by Microsoft.
