thats the thing, build it apon Open Studio, you have docking (via Open Studio), just add the features and your done.

well that sounds a bit Confusing Being that Open Studio is VB.Net
and VSWE is In C#(Almost the only programing lang in know )

it will be easy to convert, I know both languages pretty well..
I have converted many apps from vb.net to c# and back in the past....

just take your forms from vswe and add them to Open Studio, the docking is already setup, I'll help you hook up everything....
let me know tomorrow, i can help you convert then (tomorrow).

well...i haven't really got into to deving yet, all im doing right now is respinning ubuntu, with a different splash, window manager, etc, and then i get started deving....its my summer project.
and the tut should be up today, i hope...
edit: you don't have to if u don't want to, i would of did it my self in the future if i had time...
edit2:i don't think the site is finished though....the photos in the gallery don't appear, the site seems to be not lined up....etc...

I think you might be getting a little ahead of yourself. You're taking on projects a bit to big for you. A learning experience is one thing, but a discouraging failure is another. Writing an OS is serious business, it's hard as hell for one person to write an OS, much more less a person with very little experience.

@Amrykid - Don't write an OS, have you noticed recently you've started a couple of projects and not gone through with them? You have a couple of years experience of programming, with no computer science behind you. People have been programming for 20 years and failed horribly at trying to make an OS that have done several advanced college courseson computer science/development, IT, hardware development and more. An OS is a massive leap from program development. Even making a compiled language is considerably smaller than making an OS.

Don't start something and then half way through when it starts getting hard stop. It shows something about you that will be useless and far from desirable in the workplace.
