While we are working on this....is there a way that we can hook other programming languages into the IDE? I suggested to Armykid about adding hooks for Java/(Turbo)Pascal/Ada/Fortran/etc. As Microsoft had preached that the .Net studio would allow other compilers to be hooked into it and be able to code with it....but as i have yet to see where they have added the functionality of that....there needs to be a one stop shop IDE for all. And as this is Open Source Studio, why not add what Microsoft could not, hell maybe they will steal the code that we develop, so we can sue them at a later time for lack of ingenuity and piracy

On a better note, If i can get in on the project it would much appreciated. I am a seasoned Basic programmer, educated and hobbied C and Java languages. I am no expert in any one language but am able to function in any language that i have learned. I am focusing most of my attention now to the VB form of ASP but am able to do a client application development. I have done Excel, Word, and Access hooks for various applications in the past (unfortunately they are company proprietary, since i was employed there ). Although, being a good coder i retained the source files of what i worked on .

Just contact me if you want me to add functional input and ideas. Im a project thinker and light to medium coder for VB and a light coder for the C language.

Yes, i have been thinking awhile about other languages. i even created a JScript Compiler for Open Studio.

I have now made it easier to implement compilers into Open Studio...just implement the ICompiler interface.
If your a Open Studio Developer and have nothing to do then heres a job list.
======JOB LIST======
Fresh New StartPage (Simplest- if you choose this, then u need to another job aswell)
Implement the CodeDomDesignerLoader interface (allows designer <> file sync)
Debugger (the hardest - can be done via ICorDebug API <--- google that)
Updater - for anyone running a beta....gets updated to next beta (beta is comming soon btw)
